Rhode Island Jail Operator Files Bankruptcy to Cut Bond Debt

Central Falls Detention Facility Corp., which houses federal detainees including people arrested by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, filed for bankruptcy saying it cannot afford to keep paying on more than $167 million in bond debt.
