US Natural Gas Surges as Hotter Outlooks Trigger Short-Covering

US natural gas futures closed higher, earlier rising by the most in more than two months, as an unusually large swing in weather forecasts triggered a wave of short-covering among money managers who were the most bearish on gas since 2020.
