Savings Insurance Divide: Big Insurers Retreat, Smaller Rivals Expand

South Korean life insurers are taking sharply different approaches to savings insurance. Major insurers have been reducing their exposure as profitability and capital-management concerns have intensified following the introduction of new accounting rules. Smaller and foreign-owned insurers, however,
