Treasury Wine Shares Soar After Moves to Tackle Excess US Supply

Australian vintner Treasury Wine Estates Ltd. saw its shares jump to an eight-month high after announcing a A$558.4 million ($395 million) post-tax writedown to tackle supply chain problems in its US market.
