PA says:The early victims’ right to review (VRR) is being expanded across the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) after successful pilot schemes, giving a “second chance at justice” where a case might otherwise be dropped.The rollout means victims of sexual offences will be able to challenge proposals to halt a prosecution before an irreversible decision to offer no evidence is made.
